When a DVD-less netbook crashes, a “repair” from the non-existant disk isn’t so easy. My system was unrecoverably crashed from last Tuesday’s Microsoft updates. I’ve heard of a half-dozen similar stories. They’re lucky they’re doing the Windows 7 upgrade free, or this would have been it.
