Mike Levin

I’m watching the campy Batman - The Brave and the Bold. At first, I hated the series as yet another sell-out excuse for a toy-line, but it won me over. It’s a throw-back to the 60’s TV program that I didn’t know I missed (I saw it in re-runs—I’m old, but I’m not THAT old). The line following this scene is, Robin: “I guess Crazy Quilt finally saw the light, Batman.” Batman: “Yes, he found the hard way, justice is blind.”

After the Heath Ledger movie that scarred children around the world, this is like a combination comedy therapy session and an apology that keeps on apologizing. I like it. Highly recommended.
